LEAD GUITARIST AVAILABLE
Former lead guitarist from the local classic rock band Raging Moon (http://www.facebook.com/ragingmoonband) searching for new working, or soon to be working, Classic Rock & 80s & 90s cover band (the heavier side of 80s, such as Ozzy, Motley Crew, Ratt, Buckcherry…, and also cover at least some newer songs such as Nickleback… for the younger crowd comes to the clubs). I have dependable transportation and professional gear. I sing strong backing harmonies.
I have the philosophy that professional musicians can learn 40 songs real quick and get out and play in front of an audience within a couple of months or less. I don’t like to rehearse for 6 months to a year in a basement – to me this just means at least one or more members aren’t taking the band seriously. I live exactly ½ way between Petoskey and Traverse City. I’d prefer to find a band that plays out more toward the Charlevoix/Petoskey area or maybe Mancelona/Kalkaska but will consider TC bands (unfortunately most TC bands tend to play out way south of TC and I’d prefer not do this again – in TC’s ok though).
